is Programme Director for Liverpool Biennial, for which he was also Deputy Chief Executive from 2001 to 2007. He was co-curator of the exhibition project Site for Liverpool John Moores School of Art and Design, where he contributes to its graduate courses in fine art and cultural leadership. Between 1992 and 1999 he organised the public programme of the Jan van Eyck Academy in Maastricht (Netherlands), while in 2004 he co-curated the Liverpool/Manchester section of Shrinking Cities in Berlin.
