We are pleased to present a preview of the GREEN ISLAND 2015 programme, which will start off in the week of Milano Design Week (14^th April) and will then continue up to the start of the summer with Expo in Città.

This year will feature the greatest ever urban event dedicated to the world of bees and pollinators, to biodiversity and honey as a complete and natural food. Projects by artists and designers will introduce new ‘hives’ for creative installations, designed to be placed in public gardens and in green spaces all around the city.

GREEN ISLAND 2015 thus constitutes a major cultural reflection on the relationship between human being and the environment, starting from the importance of the role played by bees in the urban setting, with an unusual itinerary bringing together art and ecology.
