GOING PUBLIC - THREE PAVILLONS

We are plased to announce that THREE Pavillons at the International Art Biennial Venice are dedicated to artists who in the last years had participated to GOING PUBLIC, program ideated by our organisation to investigate territories, communities, micro-geographies, emerging cultures.

Maria Papadimitriou (Greece), has participated to GOING PUBLIC with 3 different projects: Space Train (2003) performance at the Railway Station of Modena during FestivalFilosofia; Poetics of Mobility (2004) a project on memory at Fondazione Olivetti Rome; Grand Hotel (2005), urban installation for the Social Cultural Center Larissa, during the edition 'Community and Territory'.

Raimond Chavez and Gilda Mantilla (Perù), Estacion Movil (2003/2004), a mobile platform of confluence for artists, a space of interaction with the public, in Sassuolo Train Station.

Yane Calovski and Hristina Ivanoska (Macedonia), Archipelago Balkani (2010-2011), a program of workshops, lectures and publication of a magazine, on urban and social transformation of the city of Skopje.
