On Monday 9^th March at the PAC  Padiglione Arte Contemporanea  of Milan, the presentation ‘CONTEMPORARY ART AND MULTICULTURALISM’ will be held.

Expo Milano 2015 is coming. How does it work? What are the issues and the expected results? These are the themes of the presentation - curated by Claudia Zanfi - which will highlight the best practices of the 2015 Milan Universal Exposition.

We're glad to invite you at the presentation of the book The Gardens of Piet Oudolf by Claudia Zanfi (Bolis edizioni). 

That concerns the first Italian publication dedicated to the well known landscape designer, creator of the public park along the 'High Line' in New York, the Millenium Park in Chicago and the Giardino delle Vergini for the Venice Biennial.

In the frame of the solo exhibition dedicated to Franco Vaccari in Naples (organized by the Madre Museum and the Foundation Morra-Greco), the entire collection of his films and video works will be presented.

On the occasion of Book City Milano 2014 aMAZElab will open its own space to the presentation of the editorial project GOING PUBLIC 2003-2013 (Silvana Editoriale), dedicated to the Mediterranean and Balkan areas. For the occasion readings from prestigious writers such as Erri De Luca, Pedrag Metvejevic, Jean-Claude Izzo, Francesca Aguirre, performed by Antonella e Caterina Muntoni.

On the occasion of Walid Raad (Lebanon) solo show at Museo Madre di Napoli, Claudia Zanfi (director aMAZElab) will introduce a unique project dedicated to the different cultures and landscapes around the Mediterranean cities.

In the beautiful frame of BOSCO DEI GELSI (Nave, Brescia), it will take place the first edition of “Festival Terra”, edited by Acchiappasogni (green and social organization). A series of activities are planned: workshops for children and families, organic food and mulberry jam tastings, meetings, music and art installations.

A weekend of cultural events focused on "Growing the Energy" with exhibitions, green installations and educational initiatives, including presentation of projects and books such as: GREEN ISLAND: urban flora, artists' gardens and biodiversity, hosted by Claudia Zanfi (director of Green Island/Atelier del Paesaggio) and Gaia Rocchi (graphic designer, editor Green Island).

During the 2014 Venice Biennale of Architecture, award-winning photographer Paul Clemence and internationally published writer Robert Landon will host a panel discussion based on their new book “HereAfter: Structures in Time,” an exploration in photography and prose of architecture’s hidden fourth dimension: time.

A day of talks and public art presentations, organized by the Cultural Office of Pesaro-Urbino. The goal is to support creative activities and to promote the best practice of artistic residences in the territory. Claudia Zanfi will be attending the talk ‘Places of artistic creativity in the urban space', in the context of the program 'Video Mapping - Out of Range'.
